Pamela Aares' writing hits a home run in this sweet love story between an owner and a ball player. She really turns up the heat when Chloe fall for the pitcher of the local ball club, Scotty. Their passion for one another is intense. But will the unexpected bring their romance to an end. Chloe's father, and owner of another local ball club, acquired Scotty in a trade right before he passes away leaving Chloe as owner. Now she faces a choice of between the man she loves and honoring her dad's final wishes of taking over for him as owner of the team. Being owner and involved with one of your player isn't the only scandal hiding in the shadows. Chloe also is being set up for blackmail by one of the managers working for her with a possible gambling problem that could destroy everything her dad had worked for his entire career. About the Author
Pamela is an author of contemporary and historical romance novels. Her first book, Jane Austen and the Archangel (Angels Come to Earth, #1) was released in 2012. Midnight Becomes You, (Angels Come to Earth, #2) will release in 2014, along with three more books in the Heart of the Game series, all releasing in 2014.Before becoming a romance author, Pamela Aares produced and wrote award-winning films and radio shows including Your Water, Your Life featuring actress Susan Sarandon and the NPR series New Voices. After producing The Powers of the Universe and The Earth’s Imagination, she knew without a doubt that romance lives at the heart of the universe and powers the greatest stories of all.
