If you have read any of Bella's MC books then Marcus Tandem character will be a familiar. This is not part of the MC series but some guys and girls from the club make a cameo appearance since they're paths have crossed in the past. This read is taken from a dual point of view and alternates between the past and present times. It's a quick read and yes it is part one of a series, so a cliffhanger will leave you looking out for part two, coming soon after the holidays.
Marcus Tandem has to marry within a year or he'll loss the family business. The problem is he's a player and not the type to settle down but now has no choice. He needs to find a girl that he can trick to falling in love with him, marry him and stay married to him for 2 yrs as per the contract states. Katia is so wrapped up in her personal life that she is desperately looking to unwind and a one night stand is what she needed but she found much more. Running into her best friends sexy and high power boss while celebrating with friends, she knows she's in trouble. Not only does she not have the time for relationships but something about Marcus gives her the feeling she will not be able to walk away. Katia is doing everything to help take care of her disabled mom on her own but the bills are getting out of hand. Marring this rich and powerful man could either be the answer money issues or the end of her well being! Find out what has Katia looking out for danger and why Marcus' involvement may put her at greater risk.
