I enjoyed this bad boy cowboy soon to be star in Bare Essentials by M.L. Stephens.  This is one of those feel good stories that gives you hope that true love does happen even when you get thrown off the
horse once or twice. 

It's a rags to riches that not only is about a dirt road cowboy turning famous but it's about hoe two people might be able to heal what is broken about each other.  
Cutter is a hard working cowboy who had bad luck in the relationship department,twice.  His first love from high school got away and his second love turned marriage was just all wrong. Tainting his views that true love is for him.  He is a now a love'm and leave'm type of guy with a bad attitude, giving him no chance to fall for another girl and wind up with a broken heart again.  He takes all of that hurt and let's it all flow thru his music like medicine would flow thru veins to heal his sole.  By chance he is discovered by a very well known talent agent who also happens to be sassy and different than any girl Cutter has ever met.  

Holly is a single mom who is raising her daughter totally on her 
own has also been dealt a bad Han when it came to relationships.  The only good thing that came out of her famous ex- husband was her daughter.  She lost all trust in men after he cheated on her when Holly was just starting out as a new mom.  He wanted nothing to do with his kid and picked up and walked out of their lives for ever.

“Ryder, you’re becoming more well-known for your
behaviour off court than your actual career. Do you have anything to comment on that?”

I
raise my eyebrows at the reporter. Flashes from cameras are going
off everywhere, as you’d expect in a post-match
press conference—especially for a
game I’d been very lucky to win.

“Not
sure what you mean there, Stan,” I say, reading his nametag. It’s
been less than two minutes, and I’m already sick
of where this is going. “I came
here to play tennis—that’s it. It’s a damn shame that reporters like yourself having nothing better to do
than focus on what I do in my
private time.”

“But
is it private time when you’re out until three a.m. the night before a big match?” he persists.

I
shrug, and wipe my mouth in an attempt to hide my smirk. “Players
prepare for matches in different ways. I’m sure
for some a good night’s sleep does
the trick, but for me, I’ll take an evening of rough and sweaty sex over a quiet night any day of the
week.” I ignore the glare of my
manager, Matt, and nod at the next reporter.

“Ryder,
do you think your pre-match actions showed disrespect for your opponent today?”

“How?”
I fire back. “I treated the build-up to this match just the same as I would if I were playing Nadal or Federer.
You all seem to want to focus on
my life outside of the court. Does anyone here have any questions about my actual tennis?”

I
cross my arms over my chest as Matt bows his head and sighs. A murmur rises through the crowd before someone puts
their hand up. I nod, my eyes

“You

This is book one in this series and Ms. Jacquelyn has totally out done herself with this read!  I love reading her past work, the Lost and Found series to begin with,  but UNDER CONTRACT has stolen the show.  If you haven't read any of her books, this is one you must read to start you Jacquelyn obsession.   Her writing style is so entertaining and witty that it will have you 'purring' for more, 'ha inside joke...read the book'.  The chemistry between Mitch and Charley is explosive, filled with sassy banter and hot passion, have a cold shower on hand, trust me.   I know, I know in the first few pages your going to think... Here we go another contract story...but trust me, it's much more.   Charlotte finds herself desperate to keep her and her three kids from being homeless after her jerk of an ex-husband just gets up and leaves them in financial trouble and all.  Having big important bills that need to be payed, she seeks an add for to be an escort.  Little does she know that Mitchell Colton turns out to be a wealthy CEO and signing on the dotted line get Charlotte more than what in the fine print.  Between his tragic past and her present problems, drama is not far behind.  Lucky for Charley, she has the support of family and close friends, who all have the tendencies of twelve year olds when around each other that is hysterical, and that you will fast fall in love with especially her off the wall sister, CiCi.  Her character is a story of its own, which I understand will be the next in this series, can't wait.  UNDER CONTRACT has it all and before you know it you're wrapped up in this a romantic comedy love story that takes you away and leaves you satisfied at the end!

Rescue breathing has taken my breath away!  I am in love with Olivia and Owen in this story. The way Zoe Norman writes has ignited my inner lust to read more about these two and I'm hoping other characters remake an appearance in the next read, soon to be released, called LIFE SUPPORT.   Zoe has caught my attention and has just been added to my favorite Author's list.  I felt so close to these characters that I experience every emotion of laughter, hurt and extreme heated passion that they went thru.  Hot! 
Owen and Olivia meet at an airport bar by chance and fate would have it that they both happen to be on the same flight, seated next to one another and spending the friend weekend out in Seattle.  It must be a sign of future true love or will their past but a stop to what could be?
