This is such a well written and enjoyable series by Ms. Ayres, it made me laugh and cry and want to read more. It can be read as a standalone but I highly recommend you read the series in order since it intergrades the characters and its story line in each. I love the flow, heated chemistry and witty humor of both CiCi O'Brien and Kyle Cooper's characters. Let's not forget the rest of the GEG's that also make appearances thru out the book. In this read, we learn more about CiCi and why she is who she is. Although she seems tough with her wicked tongue and ball grabbing attitude, no really ask Kyle, she has more tenderness and hurt that hides beneath the surface of her facade. Her past has done a number on her trust towards relationships and now Kyle has to fight to keep her from running from a good thing. I so fell in love with Kyle's fight to not give up and the way he takes a stand at what ever CiCi throws at him. He's not only vice president to Colton Technologies but he is as swift as a ninja, according to Mitch, and his determination to get what he wants is unstoppable. We learn a lot about who the real Kyle is and about the loving family that he comes from. His dad is laid back and handsome and his mother may appear to be the modern day June Cleaver but don't let her looks fool you. She's not only the best mom, lovable and caring but she is a strong and sophisticated lady who protects her own. His sister may have special needs but her heart and sole are bigger than most people you meet. All these bits and pieces of Kyle's family are what make up Kyle and who he is. Kyle may appear to have it all but with only working hard and without a love in his life, he has nothing. Now he is on a mission to change that after meeting CiCi. Although, CiCi feels differently towards this new relationship and does everything in her power to derail Kyle goals. Who will win this battle and conquer love? What will happen to the victor when all the dust settles?! You are in for a real treat and this is A true MUST READ!!!

I am a domestic engineer (born and raised in NJ) whose sole responsibility is to guide three young, impressionable kids into becoming phenomenal adults. This challenging yet rewarding work requires a lot of love (coffee), patience (wine), and determination (periodic exorcisms). I work this magic from the beautiful state of New Hampshire.
Before becoming a domestic goddess (not really), I spent over a decade in the medical field, where I wore more hats than the Queen.
I have loved the written word and the great escape it provides since I was a little girl. When I wasn't reading about people and the places they lived, I was creating my own characters and adventures.
Finding myself again through my writing in The Lost & Found Series, The One, and The GEG Series has been nothing short of a dream come true. Also, it makes people feel better when I laugh randomly or talk to myself, knowing it's my characters and not "the voices" . . . that would be creepy.
